Welcome Letter to New Members

Dear New Member,

I want to personally welcome you to our club and to thank you for supporting your sport. All the money we make goes back into our trails and other related expenses.

Our memberships are from January to January. Anyone joining in October or later automatically get a full membership for the following year.

We send out our first news letter in April with a meeting and ride starting in May. Our trails are closed March 15th to May 1st due Le the spring thaw. And also after our first big snow fall. usually in early December. At that Lime the Snodevils Snowmobile club start to groom the trails for snowmobilinq season. Shortly after that the snowmobile trails open. ATV season reopens Len days after the official opening of snowmobile season. This is so the snowmobile trails can be further packed and groomed before ATVs use them. ATVs can do a lot of damage if the snowmobile trails aren't packed properly first. ATVs are not allowed on any trails during the winter if the temperature is above 28 degrees. Again, this is to prevent damage to the trails.

Our monthly meetings never change. They are always on the first Saturday of the month at 12:00 noon at the Parrish Town Hall. After the meeting we go on. a trail ride, trying to cover all of our trails through the year so you can become familiar with them. We also plan social time near the end of our rides, (Hot dog roast, bon fire or stopping by one of our supporting establishments for Pizza or a burger). December through April we omit the meetings and only have rides if conditions permit.

Once again thank you for joining our club. We will never stop working tor you (new trails, repairing and maintaining existing trails, signing and improved trail heads etc.) We also provide a Trail Patrol to assist and to educate some of our trail users to the ethics of our sport. If anyone is interested in becoming a DNR ATV' Safety Instructor and Trail Patrol Ambassador, we need your help. Both of these programs are DNR sponsored. Please call Frank Trimmel. at 715-873-4501. These programs are changing our image by providing safe trails and responsible and respectful ATVers.

Your President,

         Frank Trimmel
